Melinda lives in Florence and has been blogging about life in her beloved city since November 2004. She had previously lived in Florence for two years in 1997 to find her inspiration to write, but then moved back to the US in 1999. While living in the US, she dreamed of moving back to Florence and was over the moon when she was finally able to do so. She now enjoys living along the Arno with her Florentine husband. She often peers out the window while sitting at her computer to admire the river and to watch the people move around the bustling city. She loves writing about her experiences in Florence and has begun taking photos to better capture the city she loves.
